My UFO's........

You may have realised this is my purging of sewing cupboards time and trying to remember projects I once started!!!

UFO's which need working on

Last year I made up a single bed size ripple blanket.  I am using up the left over wools to make a small crib size (I expect I will get a bit of extra yarn and make a border.  I'm about half way I think.

I like something like crochet or knitting in the car, sometimes I don't want to be bothered with watching out for a pattern or changing wool.... so I have this little blanket going... so I have a boy and a girl one available for emergencies...

I like how this yarn makes it's own pattern

Anthology continues to be worked on with the Tuesday girls.... we probably will have all the blocks done in a couple of months.... the other two ladies have been too clever and are doing quilt as you go so I will have a lot of work to do... however I have been adding sashing as I go so that part is done.

This Christmas wallhanging which I just love needs lots of work... It's so long since I played with it I have no idea where I am up to.  I must do prep work and I think it might be a good one to take on retreat days...

I loved this fabric with birds and hearts on ... I want to sew them up and stuff them with lavender.  Some are sewn .... many aren't.....  This will be another good retreat project

This gorgeous diamond quilt is the one I am working on using my newly gifted treadle... I am at the stage where I need to do a whole lot of cutting before I can do any more....

Gardeners Journal... all the stitcheries are done.....  quite a lot more to do...

No Fuss Stitch-a-long ..... lovely little stitcheries which will be added to Tilda fabrics to make a very pretty quilt.... loving these...

Holly Cottage Stitch-a-long.... on the homeward run now with a couple more blocks to do and then put it all together.... sewing the blocks all up each month will make putting it together nice and quick...

Dutch Treat.... I have quite a lot more... but I'm still further ahead than I thought I would be....  when I've done all the blocks the border is going to be a year's work on it's own....  my longest term project I have done ....

this is the remainder of my beach huts.... I have already worked on these though not yet finished any of the 4 items I made with them....

This panel has been quilted.... it needs binding sewn down  - thats all it needs...

My two cushions need their binding sewn down.... I'm off to get one out right away and do that tonight ...

This big quilt needs it's binding sewn down.. it's simply not going to happen until the weather cools down...

This stitchery needs to be completed...

This stitchery has been finished but I want to make it up into the needlecase it was sewn for....

I have a bunch of these stitcheries.  I decided not to make the quilt but use them in individual projects... well, I still am thinking of what to use them for... so far I have 3 cushions (and there are still some stitcheries that haven't been started)

These mug rug potentials have been around for aaaaaagggggeeeessss... quick and easy for one day

I also have a bunch of stitcheries together, which I don't know what I will do with... though I am hatching a plan for some shopping bags......  Also some other left over bits that I am not ready to throw away but I've left them in the box wanting to keep my list realistic???????? hmmmm not gonna happen but at least this way I keep them in mind.

I am going to have a page for all of these - so it's easy for me to look back and tick off as I make them.

Righto, Gotto Go.. off to fetch that cushion to bind tonight... then I will have a UFO finish!

  16. Ooookay! Somebody I know will be very busy in 2018. It might even be her most productive year yet and that person isn't me. Care to guess who? Those projects are so beautiful. Love the stitcheries. I have notice that none where Michelle's stitcheries. I guess you love her work so much that they get completed fairly quickly. Enjoy the slow stitching. ;^)

  18. You have your pick of fun and interesting pieces to work on! It's nice to have the variety, and no real pressure to finish one before another. What do you think you'll work on first?
