Well, I did get a bit carried away cleaning up some of the scraps I had...
I think they look lovely flying on the quilt...
I'm not too sure what I will do with them .. but for the meantime they have to pretend they are still in cocoons....
... as this is happening to our house.....
... and if it sell we will need to find a new home!... staying in this area
This little "I is for Icecream" alphabet bear has been completed....
(Michelle's pattern set)

Beautiful Fiona, they look really cute on the quilt. Good luck with the house, terrifying and exciting at the same time. If you don't want to pack your new pin cushion - I will look after it for you till you get a new sewing room.
I still like the idea of a butterfly mobile! Good luck with the house sale, I hope all goes well.

You could use the butterflies to make a wreath! Good luck with selling your house and then finding another one, Fiona.

Some wonderful ideas in the comments, but I do like the idea of them on a quilt too. Hope all goes well with the sale, exciting times ahead
Love your butterflies and your quilting is just gorgeous. All the very best with selling your place and the new adventure you're about to begin. Thanks again for the butterfly link xx
Dear Fiona,
your butterflies are just cute. I would sew, glue, pin a stick to it and decorate the flower pots. I have little ceramic flowers on metal sticks, they look wonderful in the flowerpots, especially when nothing is blooming.
Good luck with selling your house/
Greetings,
Sylvia
Wow, that's an exciting change. Good luck with it all. Hope you don't have to stifle your creativity too much through the sale!
The butterflies do look so wonderful. And the stitchery is fun.
But more importantly, good luck with selling your home. That's a big decision. And a lot of work.
All the best!
Your butterflies are so pretty Fiona. As is Michelle's little bear
Intrigued to know the official term for a bunch of butterflies but it seems there is not one! However, your bunch looks beautiful and I am sure you will find a use for them. Selling property here at the moment is a nightmare - hope it's better for you. xx
The butterflies look gorgeous resting on your quilt. Icecream stitched up very nicely! I hope everything goes really well with the house and you anf hubz find yourselves settled in your new home lickety split!
You're moving house? Good luck with selling it.
I love the butterflies, how about making some wall art? I've seen loads of examples on Pinterest, in various different mediums, of butterflies flying across a canvas, starting with a big group in one corner and thinning out towards a top corner. Does that make any sense?
I LOVE the butterflies!! You've made so many. I like Wendy's idea of having them fly across a canvas, though I think I'd be inclined to sew them on to a quilt to be displayed on the wall. Perhaps you can make one for your new home!
Such a gorgeous flutter of butterflies -yes I looked up the right name for a group of them ;)- Oh so hope someone lovely loves your house and offers you lots and lots for it really soon! It's hard to play with fabric when you have to keep everything spotless all the time ;)
