I have long loved this little wallhanging and finally have made it up.... I had traced the pieces a while ago so it was strictly one of my UFO's.....
It is called Garden of Happiness and the design is by Sally Giblin... the pattern was in a Country Threads magazine but I can't tell you which one as smartiepants here tears out the pattern she wants...
what's not to love with some red work and some piecing?
... and then some quilting....
This hanging has gone to live with Tracy at Sunny Corner Farm ... I always love reading her gardening and farm life blog ... always lovely pictures of bees and rural life beauties.... she has gorgeous Highland Cattle... Tracy took a much nicer picture of the wallhanging HERE .. I think I need to find a nearby paddock ....

I so enjoyed my Girls Day Out and I will tell you more about it .... in the meantime these are the fabrics that were used and we received in our goodie bags....
My very first Tilda fabrics to play with ...... wait till you see the projects....
That is a wonderful stitchery quilt and i love the fabrics you used with them.

ReplyDeleteI have a friend who's a Tilda fiend - we have a hard time getting the fabrics here in Canada - they're not available locally, and are even hard to shop for online (with reasonable shipping). Her daughter just moved to England to teach, so several Tilda packages have already arrived - much to my friend's happiness!
