The gloves are on.....

.... and I am enjoying some quilting....

... this is the quilt made last year with Michelle (Quilting Gallery) helping "Aiming for Accuracy"....

... it's going to be a bit of  a 'sampler' quilting with different things in all the different blocks.... hope it works!!

Another Michelle (Rag Tag Stitchin) has brought out a new set of alphabet... this time for babies.... I love her alphabets... and I love sewing for babies.... wonderful.. the stitcheries are ultra cute....

This is another of Rosalie Quinlans blocks in Scandanavian Rose.... I am doing all the stitching in backstitch .... really fun blocks... loads of stitching but wonderful for pick up and go hand-work...

I have been through my cupboards and I think I have found all my lost UFO's.... and got so ashamed and overwhelmed by the idea of having so many things started and not done....

.... so I started something new......

... Oh dear.....

Righto, Gotto Go..... get those gloves back on.....

I think that we all need to start at least one new thing in the New Year. Those UFO's won't go away.

I didn't dare even look in my closet at the Ufo's but I went ahead and started something new anyway . I am sure your quilt will be lovely with all different designs in each block . Love both stitcheries you are doing , both such talented designers! Have fun with the gloves on . Hugs Sheila

One can never have to many UFO's I say. I'm just going to get a towel so I can help dry Hugh.

Totally agree with your thinking - too many UFOs, start something new!!
Have fun playing with your FMQ and I agree about Michelle's gorgeous baby alphabet.

Phew too hot for quilting here in Adelaide, but sure appreciate the pics, even though it just made me hotter!

Great post. Love the quilting but a little too hot here to be under a quilt at the sewing machine lol

If only finishing something had the same thrill as shopping for and starting something new!
Hope the quilting goes well. You are being adventureous with it, something I really have to start being.

Don't worry Fiona - I've found lots of ufo's when I moved house over the past couple weeks

You have an interesting UFO list. It is amazing how long those lists seem to get. Of course we have to start something new.

Its hard to keep a good woman down - and you are the proof of that! you seem to churn through things...only one new project...so far?? I am ashamed to admit how many new ones I have already started...(hanging head in shame...sort of)

Lin said...

If in doubt - start something new! Yes, my mantra too. xx

Now Fiona I'm a firm believer in you can't have too many projects on the go...I started a new one too!

Let's see....."variety is the spice"???? I used to be more that way. I told myself that I was more "process oriented" and that was who I was! Well, that may be, but now I try to keep the number of project in process to a minimum and have been very successful in completion numbers being up. I'm just saying it's worked for me but I totally understand your thought process!!!!! Hugs.......
