This is the postcard I sent over to Lin ( I showed what Lin sent me a couple of posts ago)
.... a little happy dresden plate flower....
I did a bit of 'pebble' quilting in the centre as seeds and small stippling in the background to give it some dimension
I have been doing some work on the little Christmas stitcheries by Michelle.....
... and the blocks are all together now....
I still need to add the borders ... I think I'll add some red and green - like this .....
The blue squares are a bit in my face so I think I will find some buttons....
I have a whole bottle of red ones but they aren't the size I fancy for this.... isn't that always the case?.....
might even try a few yoyo's.....
... and this is the little Christmas themed postcard I have sent off.....
(also one of Michelle's designs)
Righto, Gotto Go..... I am making some Christmas decorations....
.... haven't used the metallic thread in quilting before.....
love all your projects in this post. The postcards are gorgeous! Love the blue stitching, the coloured border will break up the blue perfectly and the buttons/yo yo idea is great.

Lots of interesting projects there Fiona.....I had the same problem with buttons last week, we never have the right one even though we have heaps.
