Tea Time.....

I do like my cuppa .... and I do like tea themed stitcheries...

The Toowoomba Quilters Club hosts a quilt exhibition during Carnival of Flowers and this year the theme is Time for Tea and Quilts....

We were asked to provide a tea themed mini (no larger than 12" square) to be used at the exhibition....

This is my contribution....

It is one of the stitcheries from "Teatime Treats" by Leanne May of Candlelight Creations  and I finished it off with an applique border and some hand quilting....

Rather pleased with it... pretty I think....

I did include a little hanging pocket at the back so after the exhibition I can hang it on my little stand ... for when friends come for tea!

Righto, Gotto Go.... time for a cuppa....
