After a wonderful holiday and just such amazing time with my family I had an uneventful (although tearful) flight home - spare seats next to me and for one leg I had 4 seats to myself.... imagine that - overfed Nana sprawled over 4 seats - I sure hope I didn't snore!!!
My UK children took me out for a lovely dinner in London ..... of course there was dessert... pecan pie
Back home we had a lunar eclipse yesterday morning .... my son who lives further north (Queensland) - at the beach - (tough gig!!) took these pictures:
how awesome... I would have loved to have been there. Apparently we will be at the centre of one in 2037 - here's hoping I will see it! We just had poor light for a while yesterday
What a lovely welcome waiting when I got back.....
I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful family and friends....
.... of course that includes blogging friends..... thanks for the emails and comments I have had and my apologies that I haven't commented much.... normal service will resume shortly!!!
I did manage a little bit of handwork on holiday .... a couple of wash-cloths....
.... not bad for 6 weeks....

Welcome home Fiona. So pleased your trip went well even though some sadness with leaving family. But a lovely welcome home too. It has been lovely following your trip - we didnt seem to visit much in common, other than London, but even there it seems you saw different parts to what we did.
