Wherever in the world it is lovely to be by the coast
We took a small boat (of the 22 people 11 were one family - OURS!!)
just a short trip down the river from Blakeney and round the corner to the beach to this lovely sight
The common seal...... such a puppy-like face!
it was so funny to watch them wobbling around to move.....
the girls and my english grandiekidlets.....
a cold english seaside - I imagine the seagulls were having a chat about the weather.....
beach huts for those summer time days.....
however cold it is........ little boys have to chase waves .....
... of course with the cold weather we had to have some warm food....
a self-saucing chocolate pudding with icecream.....
A wonderful few days with our family ..... very special..... we did lots more ....

Who cares how cold it is when you are the seaside, if you wrap up warm you don't notice it LOL. Looks like you are having a fabulous time. Hugs x

I always love the ocean in the fall, no people and nice crisp air. You have a wonderful family and it was nice that you could all get out together.

I love everything about the shore. THe seals are so cute, and the kidlets are having a great time.

Aren't kids adaptable? All they need are gumboots at the beach instead of thongs.
The waddle-ing seals are priceless! And the whole family wearing gummies (gumboots) takes me back, I loved mine when I was a kid :)
Who cares how cold the seaside is when you see those seals it just makes you warm from the inside out. Lots of oohhhs and arhhhs from my 2 girls. Nature is an amazing thing, makes me shake my head everytime.
I can do without the cold or seaside but I'll have a double helping of that pudding please :o)

Gorgeous place... I love the sea. The beach huts are very monochromatic! No lovely bright coloured ones... sad.
