Early last year Michelle sent me over some lovely drawn patterns which she had used in a table topper.....
These have been a great 'pick up and go' project and I have been 'picking up and going' for quite a while ages and ages with them..... and this year they were marked with my UFO mark!!! UFO#4
I have finished the stitching and self - bound the hexagons
I decided to make them into individual needle cases
I used cotton blanketing inside .... but this was not the greatest... I ended up having to edge it all to stop fraying.... felt would be better.... (but it is lovely and soft and kind to needles)
now I have nine little needlecases which will be great for the gifties box....
Thanks Michelle for those lovely stitchery patterns..... if you don't know Michelle pop on over... she does lovely stitcheries and is always coming up with new ideas....
I've decided to celebrate with a banana muffin
and since I have so many needlecases I thought I could share?
I will pick 2 people to get a little needlecase
- just let me know in a comment which is your favourite design -
I'll have a chat to Mr Random at the end of next week
Righto, Gotto Go.... I'm thinking of making some pincushions next
They are all beautiful, and make wonderful gifts. I like them all, but would have to choose the bunnies as I don't have room to keep them anywhere else
