Some French influence.....

When I was given a charm pack of Rouenneries I knew I wanted to make a bag designed by Kris from Tag Along Teddies blog.   This is my version of  French Shopping Spree

A close up of the detail - quilting, applique and stitchery .....

The strap is fun with jumbo ric-rac...

Kris is the co-host of OPAM with Peg, and has a lovely quilt in Homespun this month.... and just made another beaut Frenchy quilt... have a look HERE

Something about the french theme has brought a bit of romance into the air here....

Righto - Gotta Go..... I wonder if I can conjour up some romance round here ????

Beautiful bag and love it in those fabrics. Our store had a sale, but of course the fat quarter bundles of this, were gone by the time I got there.

Nothing like the French to influence us ---- it those mellifluous sounds --- and a talking point bag.

What a lovely bag...the fabrics are very pretty. So sad :( you Grandiegirls are so far away...I would be devastated if Charlotte live so far away.

I bet with all that France-ish stuff and those love birds you might just be able to find some romance. Or even better..just have a dance with your sewing machine. Do NOT tell my husband I said that. LOL
