Lately I have worked on blocks
These are the four 12" blocks I made for the block swaps

I love how the Starflowers look so different with a change of fabrics

I am behind on my goal of a couple of Japanese blocks each week

I'm sure some of you will recognise some of the fabrics I am using...

and another 2 Trapunto blocks done at my Thursday girls stitch 'n bitch ....
There are 3 of us who live nearby and we doing these blocks together.....
I quite like doing different block quilts... give me variety
(you may have noticed I have a short attention span!!)
but I will suddenly have a bunch of new quilts
Righto - Gotta Go... there's more blocks to prepare....
Great blocks Fiona. I especially love the Trapunto blocks and you are not the only one withthe short attention span! I also get "sidetracked" by new projects :o)

ReplyDeleteAwesome trapunto, very impressed! Who doesn't get sidetracked, that's one of the things I love about patchwork, there are no repercussions unlike paid work!

I love the Jacob's Ladder pattern and any star block is always pretty...you did great matching the corners on those.....OOOh those quilted white blocks are delish.

What a fantastic lot of blocks you've made. I love the trapunto blocks, they look wonderful. I think "multi skilled" is the word you were looking for (not short attention span!)

Short attention span, No, I'm just fickle. See one pattern, want it, see another, want it too etc etc etc. It keeps life fun. Great blocks, love the Christmas stars & the trapunto is amazing. Tracee xx
