New blocks......

Lately I have worked on blocks

These are the four 12" blocks I made for the block swaps

Anvil, Jacob's Ladder and Starflower

I love how the Starflowers look so different with a change of fabrics

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am behind on my goal of a couple of Japanese blocks each week
the names of these blocks and others I have made are on a separate page HERE
I'm sure some of you will recognise some of the fabrics I am using...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and another 2 Trapunto blocks done at my Thursday girls stitch 'n bitch ....

There are 3 of us who live nearby and we doing these blocks together.....

I quite like doing different block quilts... give me variety

(you may have noticed I have a short attention span!!)

but I will suddenly have a bunch of new quilts

Righto - Gotta Go... there's more blocks to prepare....

  3. Awesome trapunto, very impressed! Who doesn't get sidetracked, that's one of the things I love about patchwork, there are no repercussions unlike paid work!

    It's good to have a few projects on the go, and to shuffle between them. I think you juggle them perfectly.

  25. Short attention span, No, I'm just fickle. See one pattern, want it, see another, want it too etc etc etc. It keeps life fun. Great blocks, love the Christmas stars & the trapunto is amazing. Tracee xx

  27. I just got an email from you that I think was maybe a hacked email. It wanted me to click on a link to watch a video. I deleted it and did not click the link. Started to send you an email, but thought this may be the better/safer way to let you know.

  29. All your blocks are gorgeous, but I particularly love the Japanese ones. As for getting sidetracked...it's like a virus in this house at the moment - and I think I'm the culprit!
