Block 9 of Butterfly Garden
There has been quite a few of these pretty daisies for me to practice needleturn on....
and I have so loved doing the prettiest little stitcheries....
dainty little flowers in corners...
and pretty butterflies scattered all over.....
sprigs of prettiness...
daisies and hearts..
these are all 9 blocks together .... hard to see all the detail but many of the individual blocks are shown HERE if you would like to see more detail.....
Block 9 was March's goal.... now for the borders this month...
I am so going to miss stitching these .... sooooo much......

ReplyDeleteWhen I finish something big like that it is a little sad to finish but joy takes over at seeing the finished item and I can think- I did that.
Yes get those borders done quick smart.

ReplyDeleteIts absolutely diving Fiona, and your stitchery and needleturn is faultless. I made Leannes house in a BOM, and had so much fabric and loved it that I made a second one for my DIL, but embroidered their names and wedding date in the centre.

ReplyDeleteEverytime I see this quilt, I love it more and more...reminds me of a crazy quilt in a way with all the stitching...yes, any time I finish a block of stitching, I wish I had another one to do...these will be such heirlooms someday..
