I first saw these lovely little village stitcheries on Peg's blog... and I knew it was one I would love to do....
Little Patchwork Village is a Wall Quilt designed by Rosalie Quinlan
all the blocks are done now .....
I have used a lovely Cosmos variegated thread... the changes are so subtle and it was very nice thread to work with....
The blocks sit in pretty stars - I think I will use this fabric... I will need a couple of other fabrics too ...
Righto - Gotta Go.... weekend to enjoy hope you have a good one |
It's a small world!! I bought that pattern a while ago - I love houses and building etc so I HAD to have it. I had it put away - somewhere and since I have relocated all my sewing stuff I havent really got to the job of sorting thru folders and labelling everything - one day! but I have been thibking lately - oh I should get out that little village pattern I have... then tonight I was searching for a pattern that I need for tomorrow - and there were my little village patterns - right next to the one I was originally looking for!! Then I logged on - and voila! same thing!!! If I could do that creepy music thing in words I would !
