.... a finished quilt....
When I got these lovely fabrics from Sharon in the OASS swap in November
and I saw Dawn Hays pattern in the Homespun Magazine (Issue 12.10) I knew they would work together beautifully..... you can see the start of this quilt HERE ...
I quilted around each of the flowers...
and did feathers on the border ....
and straight line quilting in the coin parts....
we have had some rather dull grey days so a gentle sun on a pretty quilt...
is going to cheer up any day.....
Thanks to Sharon for getting me out and about using some new colours of fabrics and thanks to Dawn for a lovely pattern..
there's enough fabric to make the cushion in the pattern shown in the top picture.....

WOW Fiona, it looks spectacular. I am a little (well a lot!) chuffed that I had something to do with this quilt comming to life :o) (Yes some days I will take any credit I can get ... lol ) And you cushion is just perfect .... always did like that pattern, might have to go and get one for me now :o) hugs, Sharon
