Sally's Quilt ......

Sally is one of my SIL's (we married brothers)
... she just turned 50... and celebrated 30 years married bliss....

I started this quilt last year (so it was one of my UFO's listed earlier this year)
and finished it in January so it could be posted over to England....


I used a Jelly Roll in Portabello Market for the blocks ...





Some detail of the quilting.... I used a variegated thread.... four leaves at each block and concentric petals at the sides... and feathers for the borders....

I love this backing fabric.....


I hope this keeps Sally snug - they are having some very cold weather

  14. My most favourite fabric range to date. I have Layer cake, jelly roll and yardage but can't cut into it yet. One day perhaps.
