I needed some buttons....
I found some of this moulding stuff.....
easy to work with... gave it a roll...
I found a nice star cutter... the heart shape was a round cutter which I gave a bit of gentle persuasion!
roll, roll, press, press.....
made holes for threads using a tooth pick....
I used up the whole block
leave them to dry for at least 24 hours...
file off the sharp edges....
then paint, or print, or varnish...... I painted and then applied 2 layers of Modge Podge to seal ....
they are not incredible ... but they will do the job....
The Modge Podge blocked up the holes, so I will be asking Hubz to get out a nice fine drill and fix them up for me ......
Have you made something similar... any hints?
