Who let the dogs out?

This quilt was made using 'vintage' blankets and chenille

I love the blanket square patches


I couldn't pass up the opportunity to practice some more feathers....


stitch in the ditch quilting around the dogs and along the squares.... free motion round the little daisies...


.... finishing off the eyes... nice and secure.... 


a bit of fun with the backing... also 'vintage' brushed cotton and flannel.... 


... someone has already chosen it as a favourite at Nana's house....


This is one of Toni's lovely patterns... it was in a Australian Homespun magazine but she does have them available HERE... her dogs have hats now...so very cute....

    I am not surprised it is already a favourite. It looks great and must be very warm and snuggly! Love the combination of fabrics, too.

    LoVe the dog quilt... and the cheeky little man under it looks cozy!
    I have a doggy xmas pattern which I'm itching to make. Perhaps this will spur me on! :)

    What a cute quilt! I love that you used a vintage bedspread for the blocks. I bought 2 the other day....now I have an idea of what to do with them!!!

    Looks all cozy and warm...
    I forgot to mention the veggies in my last comment...so nice to see them...we had the last of our Spinach last week...our weather is topsy turvy right now...cold for a couple of days then very warm..going to 70 today..
