Ooooooh.............

Lookie, lookie....

Isn't this such a clever use of a jeans pocket..... thanks to Toni who made me this simply gorgeous flower pot... and filled it with specialness.....

It is Toni's pattern I am using for my Doggie quilt and when she asked about my recycled/vintage wool felt I sent her a bit to try... and she made me a present with it!!!

I'm thinking of soap or lavender in the pocket to keep a nice scent

Thanks Toni... I love it..... lots

I also received this lovely block from Beatrice in France...

... it's an excellent addition to my other Wonky Square I Spy blocks

I have finished my Fourth block of Butterfly Garden.....

I am so loving doing all these blocks....

some of my favourites in this nine patch

some french knots, lazy daisy and backstitch

some buttonhole stitch applique and embroidery

backstitch and needleturn applique

Hoping you are having a wonderful weekend and spending some time in your happy place ....

I'm off to watch the rugby and sew binding....

  6. Cute flower pot! I'm massively in love with your Butterfly Garden, it's so beautiful and your stitching is so perfect. I'm wondering if the pattern needs adding to my wish list - is it a pattern or a book?

  10. First of all, I love the little jean quilt and will be sure and make one...I have some denim where I cut off a pair to make my grandson shorts but I'll have to grab a pair at the thrift store for access to a pocket..
Your butterfly quilt is so beautiful and I love all the embellishments (sort of like a crazy quilt)...did you have a pattern/book or is it all designed by you?
Second: Could you tell me how you got your header photo to go all the way across the top and how you added all the topics underneath with the links?
