FNSI

I did manage to accomplish a bit on my first FNSI ..... I got on the machine and put the doggy blocks together...

Silent Witness, which I enjoy watching, was on TV so I put the finishing touches to my September Birdie Block
I rather like my multicoloured hippie tree

There were 161 people linked in for FNSI - I hope I can find time to visit some of them???

It's Carnival time here... I spent the day at our very first Creative Arts exhibition

we have a little stand
(that's my fast moving friend Bev)

We are the bunch featured in the latest Homespun magazine... has anyboy recognised me?

there are some lovely quilts to see at the Creative Arts - this is only a small selection

needleturn

hexagons
needleturn and hand quilting

 stitchery with quilting
 crazy patchwork -

 INCREDIBLE detail in the embellishing

A bit of Ausi birdlife.... magpies

incredible embroidery - behind glass but I hope you can see the dimension

more of this ladies embroidery - it was just tooooooo fantastic

fires around - too early in the season which is not good but it does mean beautiful afternoon skies

Hoping you are having a happy and creative carnivally weekend where-ever you are
